Ortovox AVABAG LiTRIC ZERO 27 26/27

The AVABAG LiTRIC ZERO 27 is a weight-focused electronic avalanche airbag with 27 litres of capacity. This page places it in a splitboard touring context: what it is for, where its limits sit and which equipment still belongs in the setup.

What is the AVABAG LiTRIC ZERO 27 designed for?

An airbag can influence the chance of remaining near the surface in an avalanche. It neither prevents a release nor replaces a transceiver, probe, shovel, training and conservative risk management. Check the trigger, charge or cartridge and airbag-compartment closure before every tour.

The ZERO concept suits long climbs where every gram matters. Organisation, harness fit and board carry still need to match your normal touring kit.
